Dear Sir/Madam
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14
As Amended by Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Temporary road Closure - U8184 Road to Anick House  - Hexham
 
For your information the County Council intends making an Order under the above Act to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8184 Road to Anick House, Hexham for approximatley 50 metres in front of The Rat Public House, Hexham in the county of Northumberland.
 
The Temporary Order is to be effective from the 10th of January 2011 until the 26th of January 2011.
It is expected that the road will be closed at all times.
 
The diversion route for west bound vehicular traffic is to utilise the road on the north side of the grassed area in front of Anick Farmstead / Anick Low Barns and vice versa for east bound vehicular traffic.
 
The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water Ltd. for Excavation works.
