The works at Anick grange is carrying on as we have found another defect that we cannot line the sewer for so we have to excavate on it and repair the pipe. As you have made us aware our notice run out on the 11-12-11 but we hope to be finished by next week end we will keep in touch.

EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Council hereby prohibits the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C242 Corchester Lane Corbridge from its junction with the U8182 Anick Grange Junction to Oakwood East Junction heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 150 metres in the County of Northumberland.
This Emergency Notice is to be effective from 21st November 2011 until the 11th December 2011. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed from the 21st November 2011 until the 2nd December 2011 however it will be closed at all times during this period. Please note that due to complications this closure will be extended for an undefined period.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water in order to repair a collapsed sewer.
The alternative route will be via the A69.
